The five major frameworks of the Taozhu Miao District Environmental Education Regional Center (TCMEERC) is based on the EE Capacity: professional leadership, empowerment learning, technology support, research evaluation, and partner promotion. The partners of environmental education promotion in four counties (Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County, Hsinchu City, and Miaoli County), and 4 types of partner groups (schools, governments, non-governmental organizations and enterprises) connect to local partners with environmental issues and establish the cross-disciplinary strategic partnership. The TCMEERC integrate resources of all partners and form a network of environmental education. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are the vision of the TCMEERC. The center help the partners connect to world NGOs with SDGs. The main focus of 2018 was "No buts, no ash", "Air Pollution - Environmentally Friendly Praying" and "Young Environmental Educator - Plastic Reduction and Fighting". The project completed four workshops on local issues and "plastic free" incorporating community-building workshops" "Education for SDGs: opens a window for students", "Environmental education activities for marine plastics and cigarettes buts free" and "The environmental education-related subsidy counselling for Indigenous partners ". The Center also completed 3 cases of partners and enterprises to promote environmental education. The first example: assisting Hsinchu City Chenghuang Temple to cooperate with Aishisen Technology Co., Ltd. to purchase firecracker equipment to promote the culture of friendly environment; the second case: assisting Sanqishui Environmental Education Center and Chunghwa Picture Tube Co., Ltd. to work together and dialogue with each other. The third example: assisting the Miaoli County Traditional Settlement Cultural Association and Feida Enterprise to remodify the old houses and ecological environment. Through the efforts of the center and partners, we will establish cross-disciplinary alliances and examples of cooperation, and achieve the three goals of environmental education in the localization, youth and industrialization.
